These paintings are by my daughter. She has been told that they are “too depressing.” I have never heard anything so ridiculous .It’s no wonder that people are still so afraid to speak out and suicide is increasing . Tell me, how can depression be “too depressing?” These paintings are all her own work in support of me, her mother. Not only is my poor mental health hell on me, it is also hell on her. It is easy to forget about our loved ones while we feel so ill, but living with a loved one who is in so much pain can leave them feeling helpless and frustrated. Our loved ones are also the people we take our pain out on as they are the closest. Not only do those suffering have amazing courage and strength, so do our loved ones. My daughter is amazing and I want everyone to know that.
